2010 Boy Scouts Of America National Jamboree

Fredericksburg, VA
July 26 - August 4, 2010

The Boy Scouts of America will be holding its National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA from July 26 - August 4, 2010. The Institute of Transportation Engineers will be sponsoring the Traffic Safety Merit Badge booth. Volunteer staff, including ITE members, staff from FHWA, the Fairfax County VA Police Department, and others, contributed on the order of 1,800 hours over 10 days. We need your help to staff the booth in 2010! You can come for a day, a few days, or the entire Jamboree. For more information, contact program coordinator Steven Gayle at sgayle@co.brome.ny.us


2010 Spring MOVITE Meeting

Kansas City, MO
April 28 - 30, 2010

The Spring 2010 MOVITE meeting is to be held in Kansas City, MO April 28-30. The theme for the spring meeting is “New Connections, New Directions”, and we have opportunities for speakers covering a broad range of planning, traffic, and transportation topics. If you are interested in presenting at the spring meeting please see the attached call for abstracts. Information is also available on the KCITE website: www.kcite.org.

2009 Midwestern ITE Annual Meeting

Please mark your calendars for the 2009 Midwestern ITE District Annual Conference!  The theme this year is "Sustainability: Rethinking Our Transportation Future."  The meeting will be held at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells, WI, June 17-19, 2009.  The 2009 Conference will focus on sustainable transportation engineering and planning practices and topics.  For more information please click here.

2008 MOVITE Annual Meeting

Omaha, NE
September 24 - 26, 2008

The conference was a success! Over 180 transportation professionals were in attendance for technical tours, training, technical presentations and social events.
